Top Maps and Navigation Apps in Switzerland Q4 2024

During the fourth quarter of 2024, the top Maps and Navigation applications in Switzerland showed varied performance in terms of downloads and active users, according to Sensor Tower data.

SBB Mobile experienced a steady stream of weekly downloads, peaking at around 10.9K in mid-December. The weekly active users fluctuated slightly, with a notable decline towards the end of the quarter, dropping from approximately 1.5M to 1.3M.

Uber - Request a ride saw a gradual increase in weekly downloads, starting at 9.5K and ending at 10.5K by the end of December. Active users also increased, with a noteworthy rise from 111K to 151K.

Bolt: Request a Ride had a significant increase in downloads, especially towards the end of the quarter, reaching about 10.9K. The active user base showed a consistent upward trend, concluding the quarter with approximately 47.8K users.

TCS - Touring Club Schweiz maintained a more stable presence with weekly downloads fluctuating slightly, peaking at 5.7K in early October. Active users increased substantially towards the end of the quarter, from 27.8K to 30.9K.

Waze Navigation & Live Traffic had a modest download performance, with figures ranging between 2.7K and 3.9K. The active users remained fairly stable, hovering around 80K to 87K throughout the quarter.
